A Case Report of Papilloma of Choroid Plexus.

ABSTRACT
Choroid-plexus papilloma not only is rare but it has breat clinical interesting becauses of its frequent association with communicating hydrocephalus and it may causes hydrocephalus either through by hypersecretion of cerebrospinal fluid or obstruction of its pathway, occasional prenatal occurrence, mainly childhood, noninvasive character, common benign, possibility of total removal with satisfactory end result and histological relationship to normal ependyma and the normal choroids plexus. In the presence of an elevated total protein, xanthochromia, or previous evidence of bleeding in a childhood with hydrocephalus and the possibility of choroids plexus papilloma must always be considered. One case of choroids plexus papilloma, which was experienced at Department of Neurosugery of the National Medical Center in Seoul is presented with a brief review of the literature.
