ABSTRACT |
Aneurysms arising on the posterior circulation make up about 15 percent of all cerebral aneurysms and majority of them can be attacked directly and obliterated safely with aid of selective vertebral angiography, the operative adjuncts of deep hypotension, magnification of vision and the new operative approaches. Recently, we have done "four vessel angiography" for most of patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage but found only 2 cases of aneurysm of posterior circulation. Authors report a case of basilar aneurysm which was clipped via subtemporal approach under hypotensive anesthesia and magnification. |
