ABSTRACT
The changes on T3 and T4 levels placed individually in medial and basolateral amygdalar nuclear groups in dogs were studied. Results indicate the lesions placed only in the medial amygdalar nuclei significantly increased or decreased according to radiofrequency stimulation and destruction respectively, while lesions made in basolateral nuclear area was not effective in producing any changes in T3 and T4 levels in dogs.
