ABSTRACT
The authors experienced a case of asymptomatic large cervical meningocele in a 13 year old otherwise healthy girl. The lesion was found at birth and was grown progressively without producing any clinical symptoms and signs. On operation, the sac was empty except for normal spinal fluid, and there was no evidence of neural elements adhesion to the sac under operating microscope. After excision, patient did not show neurologic deficit or hydrocephalus.
