| ABSTRACT |
|
Cerebral cysticercosis is relatively common disease in Korea. But spinal intramedullary cysticercosis is very rare.
We have recently experienced a case of thoracic intramedullary cysticercosis which was misdiagnosed as intramedullary tumor. We performed CT myelography and MRI, and they showed a cystic mass, suggesting intramedullary tumor. Laminectomy was performed and cystic mass was removed. Pathological diagnosis of specimen was cysticercosis. |
