Result of Stereotactic Aspiration of Spontaneous Putaminal Hematoma.

ABSTRACT
Putamen is regarded as the most common site of spontaneous intracerebral hematoma. Authers peresent the result of retrospective study of stereotactic aspiration of spontaneous putaminal hematoma. The result of treatment and the assessment of the prognostic factors are as follows;To lower the frequency of rebleeding and mortality. 1) To delay interval from attack to aspiration for at least 12 hours and 2) To limit of hematoma aspiration rate below 50% is desirable.
