The authors analyze the citation of Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society, which is based on Korean Medical Citation Index(KoMCI)2000. The average number of Korean references were 1.2, and that of Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society was 1.0. It shared only 3.9% of all references. The impact factor of Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society was 0.079, and the score was below average among 69 KoMCI articles. In order to improve the status of Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society, the effort of every members of Korean Neurosurgical Society is essential. |
