The surgical specimen of intradipolic epidermoid cyst is well preserved and exactly matched to the lesion shown in magnetic resonance image. The etiology of occurance of epidermoid cyst in the diploic space of skull in still controversial however, developmental origin is the most powerful hypothesis.
