In May 2017, the third Pediatric Issue will be published in Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society on the topic of “Neuroendoscopy”. Cover story shows endoscopic approach to hypothalamic hamartoma (HH). Upper figures show the trajectory to HH through Kocher’s point and the direction of dissection around the lateral border of HHs. Lower left figure shows discrete appearance of HH distinguished from hypothalamus (HY). Successful disconnection of HHs from the hypothalamus could be achieved with a monopolar coagulation as shown in lower right figure.
