Simple disc surgery and traction therapy for the spinal trauma were the major procedures in the spine section of neurosurgery several decades ago, however, the clinic of spinal disease is one of the most important field of neurosurgery nowadays. Many advanced technology and understanding of pathophysiology are now being used to manage the patients and even restorative operation is performed now.
